Jeremy HoffAssociate Jeremy Hoff joined Stackpole & French Law Offices in 2008. He assists clients primarily in the areas of real estate, land use, utility regulation, civil litigation, and general corporate matters. Jeremy also serves as local general counsel to an international client base of individuals, families, and organizations with interests in Vermont.

Jeremy’s real estate practice is varied, including a broad range of residential and commercial transactions, financing, subdivision and permitting, development, construction, condominium formation and serving as counsel to homeowner associations, landlord/tenant disputes, and foreclosures. He represents clients before municipal Development Review Boards, District Environmental Commissions, in the Vermont Environmental Court on development and land use concerns, and before the Vermont Public Service Board on matters pertaining to utility regulation.

Jeremy is admitted to practice in the state courts of Vermont and Iowa, as well as the United States District Court and United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Vermont.

Jeremy is a graduate of the University of Vermont (B.A. 1999) and Vermont Law School, having received a Master of Studies in Environmental Law (M.S.E.L.) in 2004 and J.D. in 2007. Following law school Jeremy served as Law Clerk to the Legislative Council of the Vermont Legislature, performing legislative drafting and research and providing legal counsel to state legislators in the areas of agriculture, commerce, economic development, and environmental regulation.
