Vermont Fractional & Timeshare Transfer Company (“VFTTC”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Stackpole & French focusing exclusively on the transfer of title of fractional and timeshare real estate at Vermont resorts.
Based on our decades of experience representing buyers, sellers, and developers of Vermont real estate, we fulfill the need for local, trustworthy, efficient, and cost-effective representation of buyers and sellers in fractional and timeshare transactions. The ownership and development structure of fractional and timeshare real estate can be quite complex, making it difficult for attorneys unfamiliar with a resort to provide informed and effective representation.
VFTTC offers closing services to both purchasers and sellers of fractional and timeshare real estate and assists clients with implementing their succession plans, including transfers to Trusts. VFTTC uses resort specific standardized contracts, deeds, and other documents as well as technology to make the closing process as streamlined as possible. The majority of transactions take place by mail, but we do have office locations in Stowe, Waterbury, Jeffersonville, and Shelburne, Vermont where closings can take place.
VFTTC currently represents purchasers and sellers of fractional and timeshare interests at the following resorts: Smugglers’ Notch Resort, Stowe Mountain Lodge, Trapp Family Lodge, and The Village Green at Stowe.
