Attorney Brenda Luciano joined Stackpole & French Law Offices in 2025. Brenda’s primary practice areas are business and corporate law, environmental law, and estate planning. She has several years of experience helping clients with starting their businesses, drafting contracts, assisting with mergers and acquisitions, business terminations, buyouts, succession planning, and more. Brenda enjoys helping her clients to navigate their own unique and distinctive paths for their individual as well as business legal needs.

Prior to joining the firm, Brenda worked in civil enforcement as an Assistant General Counsel and Attorney-Advisor for the Environmental Protection Agency, Region 4 in Atlanta, Georgia. She also worked as an Assistant General Counsel in Financial Regulation for the State of Vermont. In addition, she has several years of previous private law firm practice experience including in the areas of business and corporate law, environmental law, real estate, and civil litigation.

Brenda graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from the University of Vermont. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Vermont Law School. In addition to her legal career, Brenda has also had an extensive business consulting and technology career working for national and global corporations in the past.

Brenda is licensed to practice law in the State of Vermont. She is also admitted as an attorney before the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont. She is a member of the Vermont Bar Association and American Bar Association.

Brenda also enjoys many outdoor and recreational activities in her spare time, such as golf, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and spending time with her friends and family including her dog, Tia. Brenda was also a competitive ice skater for many years, including earning a national silver medal in synchronized team skating. She also enjoys volunteering in her community and has served and participated on non-profit boards and committees over the years.
