Attorney Talasi Brooks joined Stackpole & French Law Offices in February of 2024. Talasi represents commercial clients with a focus on the energy industry. She also assists clients with litigation, administrative proceedings, real estate, estate planning, and other matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Talasi spent nine years representing nonprofit clients in challenges to federal agency decisions involving federal public lands and wildlife in the western United States. She has a strong record of success litigating claims brought under federal administrative, public land, and wildlife laws in federal courts, and has practiced in the federal districts of Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, Colorado, the Eastern District of Washington, the Eastern District of California, and the Ninth Circuit.

A Connecticut native, Talasi earned her Juris Doctor degree, along with a Master of Science in Environmental Studies, from the University of Montana in 2013. While in law school, she served as Managing Editor of the Public Land and Resources Law Review and was a member of the National Moot Court team. After she graduated, Talasi clerked for Justice Michael E Wheat of the Montana Supreme Court from 2013-2014. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BA in English Literature in 2005 and from Hall High School in 2001.

Talasi enjoys hiking, biking, gardening, and other outdoor pursuits with her husband, children, and two dogs.
